Last.fm stats 2010-11 part 2

I posted my top 10 artists in the last post. I was interested to see that only 5 of these 10 were also in my top 10 last year. None of them are brand new though.

Bloc Party, Elbow and Friendly Fires have all fallen out of the top 10 this year, Bloc Party seeing its first place outside the top 3.

The last post also showed my top 50 artists chart, these artists made up 45% of all my listens.

28 of my top 50 this year were also in the top 50 last year.

• 16 have been in there since the beginning (i.e. 2008)
• 20 are new to the top 50 this year

5 of the bands in the top 50 are brand new bands this year. In total I listened to 414 'new' artists (new to my listening stats). The top one is Silver Columns (ranked 17 in 2011).
